Smoking, Vaping, Smokeless Tobacco

Derby Comics and Games does not allow smoking, vaping, or use of smokeless (chewing) tobacco inside the store. All use of these products shall be used at the far side of the car port or within their personal vehicle. Guests found using these products in the store will be given a verbal warning and asked to continue their use outside of the business (on the far side of the car port where it is allowed)

Return Policy

No returns shall be provided to opened or purchased collectible card games (CCGs). Under special circumstances and staff approval, sealed board games (with the included receipt) may be returned to the store for store credit. If parts are missing, damaged, or incorrectly supplied with board games or accessories, the staff may be able to assist with the contacting of the manufacturer or supplier for an expedited replacement part, please bring the purchased product with a receipt to the store to begin the process. Used games purchased with identified missing parts may be refunded (store credit) at the discretion of the staff.

Food Policy

Outside food and nonalcoholic drinks are permitted in the store and the play areas. Customers are expected to keep the food near their play area and not encroach on other tables or players. All food waste, containers, and eating supplies shall be disposed of in the blue garbage containers inside the play area or taken with the customer after leaving the store. Spills shall be cleaned up promptly and the staff shall be notified if assistance is needed. Derby Comics and Games does not supply utensils, plates, condiments, or other eating supplies.

Language and Behavior Policy

Derby Comics and Games is a welcoming, family-friendly store and play area with games and activities for all skill levels and ages. We ask that you be respectful to each other and avoid the use of loud noises, profanity, slurs, loud music/videos, or other derogatory comments or actions deemed to be unacceptable or inappropriate by the staff while inside the building or directly outside the business.

Use of the Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) and electronics policy

The Internet connection (Derby_Guest) is provided free-of-charge to all guests and customers of Derby Comics and Games. Ask a staff member for the wireless access password. Please refrain from loud music, videos, or other media that may distract or offend other guests while inside the store.
